What year is the i4 Accord and it's 0-60 time?

Actually there is such a thing as a V4. They are fairly common in outboard motors for boats. Although less common, they are sometimes found on motorcycles. Honda has never put one in an Accord, though.

If you spend 2k on mods for your 250 you could've just taken an initial hit on a trade-in for the IS 350 which ultimately start you off w/ 0-60 in 4.9. No matter how you look at it speed from this standpoint is going to cost you money.

Check out how Road and Track tested the 0-60. For the IS250 AWD, they managed 7.4. They turned off the stability control. You should try turning off the traction and stability controls to see if that helps. It probably just helps with the lateral acceleration, but who knows.

Hell even turn off the radio/pull out your sub box/amps *thats all just dead weight*, blue tape your grill area and newhere else air gets in *like the nascar guys*, turn your side mirrors inwards, unbolt your muffers, unbolt and take out your passenger seat/rearseat... want me to go on? You wanted serious im giving you serious...

OH YEA most importantly, put on some 15" rims n tires G60 or N50

Juat curious but if the car gets enough traction and the rear tires don't break loose than what good is letting air out of the tires going to do, I would think that the extra resistance from underinflated tires would be more of a hinderance. Your timing comment also makes no sense to me etiher, I have been tuning Chevy & Ford engines for longer than I care to remember and can tell you that if I pull 15 degrees of timing out that car is gonna run like straight ***...any car for that matter. As far as unbolting your mufflers....I guess it would work if you were trying to make the car slower...I thought you said you were serious???

Actually, your right. I dont think the 250 has enough power to break traction... The timing part too, he wants off the line 0-60 so it should be to advance the timing, retarding the timing is for a high speed run. I musta been sleepy when i wrote that. My bad.

One little person driving, take out all extra weight, power mode on (probably won't make a difference), fill tires to max in back, overfill the fronts, traction control off (probably won't make a difference), turn off all accessories, close all windows and let her rip! Try both, from idle and per-loaded.

I dont understand. Why does the AC being off make that big of a difference? Im sure it might make a little difference, but what is the techincal difference in making acceleration faster?

It makes a small difference, but if you want to measure maximum acceleration, wouldn't you want to do everything you reasonably could?

The A/C compressor is powered by the engine, and horsepower used to turn the compressor isn't available to turn your rear wheels. Admittedly the computer will see the floored gas pedal and start shedding the load by reducing the displacement of the variable displacement A/C compressor, but until it does you are losing power and performance.
