I'm running 245/30/20, it has a OD of 25.78, which is almost the same OD as 245/35/19. My car has some rubbing, I had to shave the bolt in order for it to stop. You can't really fill the gap by using the tires because it will rub when you get bigger tires. The size you have right now is much closer to the stock OD than 245/35/19. This is what your front tire look like if you change it to 245/35/19.

I can't drop it any lower without shaving some more metal and relocate the bolt.

245/35/19 will actually probably look damn close to 235/35/19's you are running. BTW your 235/35/19's are damn close to the stock wheel diameter. You have more rim and less tire, but the outer edge from the center of the hub to the end of your tire is within 2% i think?? I did the calculations before I put mine on.

I am running 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19.

The ONLY thing I think I would ever change is maybe add a little more rubber in the rear and going with a 275/35/19 instead of the 30.

I think you are fine. I need to look at your wheels, I don't remember seeing them in the wheel thread.
I think I'm going to go 275/35/19 on my next set of rear tires as well. Mine is dropped on Eibach. There is one finger gap in front with 235/35/19. In the rear, two finger gap with 275/30/19. The od is matched almost perfect with my current setup but I hate the larger gap in the rear. Remember on the stock setup, the rear od is about 1" bigger than the front. If anyone has a 235/35/19 and 275/35/19 setup, can you post a pic? I want to see how it looks with larger sidewall in the rear.

Yeah, flipsonic. That is my feeling exactly. It's less of the gap in the rear that I am worried about , than a just more aggressive look. I think a slightly taller rear tire would look even meaner.

I 2nd the request from flipsonic for a pic if you have 275/35/19 with eibach.

I found this in the aftermarket wheels thread. Same wheels I have. Don't know if it is enough to judge though.

THATS PERFECT!!!!
275/35/19 sidewall height 3.79inches
265/30/19 sidewall height 3.13inches

Most people are running 275/30/19 for a reason
If someone wants more tire ... buy a truck.
Ive looked countless times already and barely seen anyone run 275/30 in the rear, and I hope you arent telling me to buy a truck cause I wasnt the one that wanted a thicker tire my friend. There are more people, IMO, running 235/35 and 265/30. Anyways I dont want to argue with A ROOKIE, so lets get back on topic. He asked for an opinion and I gave mines, so move on thank you.

If you look in the aftermarket wheels thread, there are many people who run 275/30 (including me).

Eddiec, I like how the front looks, but I think the rear is a little small. Keep in mind guys I know that a slightly stretched low profile tire "LOOKS" better, but I have more to consider than looks. Not to mention I would be able to lift the front of my car a little more to get it to sit a little more level.

thanks guys at least I know it is possible now to run a 245/35/19 tire. So my last question being is that do you have any problems. I know if you hit a huge dip in the road it is going to rub, but what about any other times?

I am not arguing with you.
Don't insult me calling me a ROOKIE.
More people are on 275 than 265's. In the aftermarket wheel section
265 are an odd size tire not as widely available as the 275's.
IMO!

Since you are going to lift your front a little more, I think you should be fine going with 245/35 in the front. You'll just have to be a little more careful with the dip. Overall diameter is not that much of a difference also. With 235/35 it is 25.47 inches and 245/35 is going to be 25.75 inches.

If you maintain 265/35 in the rear, the OD is 26.3 inches. It will stay pretty close to stock set up in terms of OD difference between the front and the rear. Good luck man.

I believe michelin lists the 235/35/19 as being 25.5 tall and teh 245/35/19 being 25.8. I know that the front will be a smidge shorter than the rear, but that is what I want, because that is how the car was designed.

Well I put the 245/35/19s on today. I think it looks better and it definately rides better. I didn't like how the 265/35 looked like fat meaty tires and the fronts looked like rubber bands. It evened out a little. You can still tell the front is a smidge lower profile, but not too excessive.
They do rub a little when I hit bumps. I did the heat gun mod to the rear of the fender well, but I think it is rubbing on the top portion because it will rub with the wheels straight when I hit a big enough bump. I am going to have to see where it is hitting and see what adjustments I can make. Does anybody have any suggestions?
