Default World's Ugliest IS... And a Tire Question

So there is nothing that can make such a sexy car ugly more than a mustard yellow spare tire. I got a nail in this tire (for the second time in 2 months) and had to put the spare on since the dealer was closed. I had to replace the whole tire since the nail went thru the sidewall. It actually went all the way through the tire and came out the side wall. My service adviser said the IS is the only Lexus with that ugly a$$ yellow spare. The Tire and Wheel protection plan that I bought when I got the car has already paid for itself. It would have cost me $312 at the dealer today and probably another $50-75 for the previous nail that was in my tire. I paid $350 for the warranty.

Anyways, my question is this... the dealer did not have the Bridgestone Turanza's in stock so the put on a Bridgestone Potenza RE050. Now I have 3 Turanza's and 1 Potenza. Should I request that the dealer replace the new one with a Turanza or should I leave it alone knowing i'll probably need a new set of tires in a year or two?

Here are some pics:

You should have the same tires on the same axle (two the same on the front or rear). It could affect the driving dynamics. I would request that.

I must say that the yellow looks much better with a black car.

Don't you love the tire/wheel warranty? I bent a wheel by hitting one of those uber-sized lane markers (the semi-spherical ones) while trying to avoid another car, and the wheel was replaced with no hassles. I, too, would ask the dealer for a Turanza to at least have the same type of tires on the same axle.

Is that an extra option offered by the dealers? Is it void if you change wheels or lower your vehicle?

Yes, this was an option offered by the dealer. You can specify how long you want this coverage, up to 5 years. This warranty only covers replacement of OEM wheels and tires (original as well as new tires) during the duration of the warranty. Installing aftermarket wheels will void your warranty, but I don't think lowering the car will void it.

It was an option that my dealer gave me, and yes, it even covers aftermarket wheels and tires. Well, the one I got does at least... I think up to $2000
