Yes, it will be nice to get our car in October. We don't have all of the road worries that you do. The thing that kills cars here is the sun. We usually keep our boat in the garage and the cars outdoors (I just heard a collective gasp from the gallery). I'm trying to get my husband to keep the boat ourdoors and put our cars in the garage. Red paint and the sun don't mix!
Trust me the So Cal "Hot Sun" can be un-forgiving as well....

Glad the car will be garaged at home & work..

I hope to see my car sometime in September..

What tells me that ours is worse is that family from So Cal came to visit and went to the beach with us. They said that they never burned at the beach and put on something like a 4 sunscreen. We warned them. They literally were blistered by the end of the day. I wish I had car sunscreen!!!

Well the 2008s are here! At least in California, and at least one member on this forum has taken delivery on a 2008. Hopefully ours aren't far behind. See the https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=303789 thread.

I was at Lexus today and they had an 08 250. My salesman told me that on the Nav screens, you no longer have to press "I agree". I also noticed the graphite wheels, they looked so nice! Didn't see the coinholder, but don't really care for it anyway.

Was it the 18" (split 5 spoke) that had the liquid graphite or the 17" wheels? Also did you notice the white illuminated scuff plates? If so, does the premium package come with them?

The rims were the same style as mine. The 18" ones in my sig. I'm not sure if they are the split 5 spoke or not, but they looked exactly like mine, just in graphite. I didn't notice the scuff plates because the car was locked, sorry. I'll check it out when I go back wednesday, they didn't end up putting on my spoiler because they had the wrong tool

I thought for sure I would be first...

I guess I'll have to settle on being the 1st Special Order West Coast IS350 w/Sport Package and ML-Nav....

For our new car, we ordered a package that included the back spoiler, 18" wheels with summer tires, and HID headlights. Glad to hear that the 18" wheels have the new finish too.

We ordered the package because we liked it on a used 2006 that we were trying to buy. When we went to the dealership the other day, we saw a car that had the liquid graphite wheels, but the spokes were not split. My husband loved them and said that he hoped that was what we were getting. Am I correct from what I read that the 18" on split and the 17" on not?

I'll check out the Zaino, KuttZ!

FYI for fellow Canadians.
Lexus.ca just got updated for the '08 IS. The MSRP is unchanged but the option packages have been changed. GFM colour is gone. No other mention of changes even though we know what they are from previous discussions.

Don't know. Not sure if it's deleted for '08 in the US but maybe it didn't sell here.
