How do you know this? I looked on the Lexus web site under the accessories for the G-Spiders and they don't mention this. It just says they are corrosion resistant, as is the entire car.
By the way DropTopGal you were right. I double checked with Cindy on this. I should have made them give me those wheels with the price since they told me the G-Spiders came with the sport package. I even pulled out the original email correspondance where she said this because I emailed a couple times just to verify because I didn't believe it either. Luckily the wheels are port installed, so I still have plenty of time to change it according to her.

The nav screen change has been confirmed through TIS. The nav owner's manual says the caution screen will appear for 5 seconds, then the map will be displayed. There is no "I Agree" button, just the same old caution screen with no buttons at all.
can it be changed for 06 & 07 with the NAV or CD update?

It may be available in the next updated nav disc firmware, but it won't likely be available until next year at the earliest. Lexus is not well known for applying updates expeditiously and they are also not inexpensive.

No redesign. Not for a few years anyway. The 2008s will pretty much look like the 2007s. I talked to my dealer today... they had no idea when the 2008s are expected in, so there's not going to be anything to look at for probably another month, maybe a little bit longer depending on the dealer. You'd think they could give an approximate date at this point though.

TRUE, I am looking for the exact same combination and I have asked 6 dealers including CarsDirect. I do found one in Florida, but I am not going to pay MSRP and shipping to get it over here in CA.

I ordered my 2008 in June, so hopefully my car is part of the first batch of 2008s arriving next month. If not I'd assume I'd be in the September builds, so I would see the car in October some time. Right now I would think Lexus is taking orders for the October builds, so you would not see the car until November at the earliest. They take a couple of weeks to build then over a month to ship from Japan to the dealer, so you're looking at almost two months if you get your order in promptly.
Some dealers should have some on their lots next month, with most having them by October. Whether or not they will take special orders with or after the dealers normal allocations I don't know.

Unfortunately for me further complicating the matter is the fact that I am in NYC and the dealer is in Florida. That means I have to mail them a check, arrange for transportation of the vehicle, sell my current car, and deal with the DMV issues, all of which is normally handled smoothly by the dealer. Because of my situation, knowing the date the dealer is getting the car is even more important to me than it normally would be since all these things could easily introduce another couple weeks of wait time. I'd like to get all the secondary issues out of the way ahead of time so when I get the car all I have to do is throw some plates on it and go.
