Default CAR WASH w/ 08 tC plus my car's buttcrack

Got off class and took some pictures after car wash. And also i'll show you the buttcrack my car got while i was away in Hong Kong. So my dad's lazy as* parked the car too close to the garage door and without checking he closes it. Then it drives straight through into the bumper scratching the paint and digging into the bumper plastic. My dad tried to hide it and put touch up paint all over it, but didn't work. What shall i do? My buddies said to leave it cuz its straight down the middle. Pictures are included!
tC and IS350

My car's buttcrack

You don't want to leave it like that, do you? I'd get the bumper refinished and repainted. It's not that big of a job, but certainly worth it, imo.

Sorry to hear that. I think body shops have this service call bumper repair. They would repray or touch up the mark then wet sand it and buff out the wet sand marks out to make it like new again.

Get that bumper repainted.

Or you can cover it up with a sticker. But that would be tacky...

igofast, i know from many of your previous posts you like to race your car, therefore, what philip suggested is a good idea, in the movie Cars they had a bumpersticker in the old mdl T's store which i think would fit you perfectly:

Im not speeding, Im QUALIFYING!

lol. i'm probably half the age of most CL members (19) and i like to race, but i know i will get flamed for it because its dangerous and whatnot. i track my car, but not alot. i don't challenge people, unless they challenge or provoke me in any way. I didn't get the scratch from racing though..so why would i need a sticker? Anyways how much will it be to get it fixed do you think? I kinda live near state. i live in the sunset.

Had similar damage to my rear bumper when someone backed into it. Body shop repaired and painted for around $400 and it looks as good as new.

Lookin' good...but yeah, get that bumper fixed, it's a simple job and should be relatively inexpensive.

Reminds me of when my dad scratched my car. I park in the garage and when my dad wanted to moe the lawn the rear wheel of the lawn mower hit the bottom of my rear bumper leaving a two inch scratch when he was pulling out the mower out of the garage. I was pissed cuz my car only has 2k miles on it!

The worst part is that he tried to say he didnt do it!

I think you should give it back to his 'lazy ***', and tell him you will buy your own IS350 without a scratch. The nerve of that man!
