what is a battery pad? and i see that the cabin air filter is not cleaned until 15k in the is250 and changed completely at 30k in the maintenance schedule. i would be quite upset and if they do this to me at 10k when i ask for only an oil change it will be for free.

Not true! Only if they are also asymmetrical can they not be flipped.

If they are directional but not asymmetrical, they can only be rotated from side to side if they are dismounted from the rim, flipped, remounted and balanced. Most places around here charge about $20-$25 per tire for that service, making it a costly proposition that probably isn't worth it.
