speaking of love for the car, Yesterday I got pulled over by the cops for speeding (in a pure speed trap). And before giving me my ticket he proceeded to tell me he loves my car and that it was a very nice vehicle.
As you can see I had mixed feelings about the comment

Oh yea... Having somebody go out of their way to check out your car is awesome. Funny too. Def a perk especially when its some hot chick.

Back in 2005, when I first got the car, having people come over to check it out and ask questions was a fairly regular occurrence. In those days, the L-finesse styled ES and LS were not out yet, and the L-finesse GS and IS were new enough that you'd rarely spot them on the road. Sometime between then and now, my car became invisible.

This quote right here means a whole lot more coming from someone who is from MA, where most people can give a rat's A$$ about cars and always seem like they are occupied in their own crummy life to recognize a thing of beauty. Only in MA!

I get positive comments (and a few birds) all the time, but the best compliment was while attending a wedding at a swank restaurant where every car is valet parked, the valets washed my car for free and parked it right out front so everyone could see!

Heres something:
When driving my 5.0: I drive past any bus stop and rev the motor at chicks, only guys look... sausage magnet
When driving the IS350: I drive past any bus stop with the sounds going, EVERYONE looks
