before i picked up my 250 i drove a standard car for about 3 or 4 years. When I was looking a 250 my saleswoman told me that a standard is250 is pretty hard to find. at the time i was also getting tired of driving a standard. So i did not mind picking an automatic. This past weekend I drove my friends TSX it was standard of course. It just made me miss driving a standard car. Iono there something about shifting the gears and using the clutch thats fun. does anyone feel the same way? now im regretting not looking for a standard is250

No. I drive my Supra everytime I want to stir the stick. I'll always have at least one car with a manual gearbox unless I can get a DSG.

Yes, that's why I still kept my Acura Integra gs-r. Actually my gs-r is more fun to drive than my IS. Sometimes I don't even know why I got the IS because I hardly drive it (10 months 4k miles). I fell in love with it looks wise. Driving it is actually bland and a bit boring.

Wait... standard means manual transmission? Yea I miss that all the time, but not in traffic which is why I got an automatic because I am in traffic all the time!

Ben_r expressed my sentiments exactly. I'm glad to have the automatic in stop-and-go traffic, but when the road opens up and driving becomes fun, I definitely miss the stick.

I just borrow my brother in-law's 350z when I feel like driving a car with a manual transmission. After driving it for a while I then realize how much I like driving my IS better lol.

*sigh* Yes sometimes I wish my 250 was manual. But frankly, I like it more the way it is than it is not. Moreover, my xterra with manual transmission is still around. Granted, it is not a sports car
It does give the thrill of shifting on weekend.
