only 22 mpg on highway....aaahhhh

Exactly Thats what i did. Never go above 40 mph on my daily commute. Would never get a chance to enjoy the speed of the 350, so why waste the gas money.

I've seen mileage over 30 mpg on the highway, but my current commute only gets me ~20.5 mpg. It's a 20 mile drive about half on surface streets and half on freeway. Freeway segments average around 24, but the surface streets (because of all the stop and go from intersections) averages about 16 or 17. So I end up with just over 20 and call it good. Glad to see gas prices lately - I bought premium at Shell in Atlanta for $2.75 a gallon on Sunday.

thanks for most of the suggestions... The reason I mention the mpg is that I am concerned that there may be a mechanical problem. My car has about
22K and I drive with the A/C on. I drive 75 mph cuz the speed limit is 65 mph and the CHP will only ticket 76 mph and over. At about 15K miles I was getting about 26-27 mpg, but now the number is dropping. What could be a possible mechanical problem. The only difference between my car with 15K and now at 22K is that I have not changed the oil. (i'm using synthetic)

No mechanical problem at all. Hotter temperatures outside? A/C works harder and costs mileage. Been stuck in traffic more with school starting up again? Have you checked your tire pressure lately? LOTS of possible very reasonable explanations for your mileage loss besides mechanical issues.

Back to topic, @ 60 - 65 mph you'll get much better mpg. I get 29-30mpg cruising @ 75-85mph. I have a 250 though.
