Hey, I recently got an IS350 (well a week ago). Its already gotten scratched 3 times =/. Well thats not the point really. Well the other day I went to the beach with some friends and well one of the friends didnt bring a change of clothes and got sand all over my leather seats and now there is sand in the holes of the perforated leather. I tried vacuming it out but didn't work =/ ... I am a neat freak too so ignoring it isn't really an option for me.

Go to the car wash place that allows you to wash your own car and use their vacum. The one near my house has a really powerful suction. Just run it up and down your seats and you should be good to go.

When I get my 350 I plan on having towels in the trunk for situations like these or when it rains to wipe off the non-plastic parts as I have marks on my ES330's leather where rain drops always land when I open the door in the rain. Also something to quickly remove scuff marks when they happen would be good to have on hand as well. Yeah I'm one of you truly **** IS owners that insist on keeping the car in mint condition.

The sand should dry and vacuum out after a day in the sun, I would think. Use a good vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment if you can. I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner and it works wonders on the black carpet in my IS350.
If all else fails, get meticulous with a toothpick. You have to "unclog" the holes.

One of the best investments to have on hand is an air compressor. These things work wonders when it comes to detailing out your car. Open up all of the doors and blast that air where you need to.
Should clean those seats up with no problem. Don't forget to blast the air vents and the rest of the dash.
