06 IS350 vs 07 IS350 gas mileage and other differences I noticed.

Anyone else with 07 IS350 NAV has this "glitch"? Maybe it's a dealer setting?
I noticed the average gas meter is lower too... and I do not push the car hard. Been driving it as if it's my own, and mostly highway. The MPG is lower though.
Anyone with 07 IS350, what is your FULL tank meter read? 305? 325?

The thing is.. I drive this car on 80% highway/20% streets, never exceeding 65-70... My own car I top it at around 80-90mph. I do not push this loaner hard... Of course if I did, I would expect worse gas mileage.
So base on what TJz06 said... the only two factors would be 1) Driving harder than own car, and 2) exhaust.
This would negate #1... since I baby this loaner better than my own car. The exhaust would be the only other difference.

I believe the estimated range is based on the OVERALL AVERAGE MPG NOT the tank average. Reset the AVERAGE, drive easy so it shows a good MPG, then fill the tank. I bet you see a much higher range.

Doesn't it reset after each fill up? Hmmm I'll look into this.. I didn't even know I could reset the "average".
If it's just the exhaust... man that's almost 20 miles I'm losing on a full tank.
I got the loaner at 470miles on it... I've put about 1000 miles so far. :P

there are two ave... one is current gas tank average which reset everytime you fill up.. the other one is the Overall average.. so i believe it's based on that..
also if you think bout it .. if you filled up 4 times and drove average 25mpg and other people drove it 500 times with averg 18 mpg.. you're still going to get crappy expected miles
