06 IS350 vs 07 IS350 gas mileage and other differences I noticed.
I've been driving an 07 IS350 loaner.. and it has two noticeable differences. One is the gas tank... on my 06, it says 324-325 full tank. On this one, it says 305 on the 4 fillups I've had to put gas in. The other thing I noticed is that when I drive the 07, it will automatically select ok for Navigation. On the 06, it will just sit there until you select it.
The ONLY two difference that I can think of that would cause the gas tank thing is that this loaner has the HKS exhaust and Gspyder wheels. Would those two really factor in the Full Tank meter?
I kinda like having the Navigation just select ok for me... but I do miss the Nav Override when I want to punch things while driving around.

^^^ Dude forget intangibles like the distance to empty & Nav nag screen, how do you like the HKS & G-spiders ? Does the exhaust sound much different at idle & WOT ? Would you recommend upgrading to the HKS exhaust from stock ??? I like how the HKS is all stainless, but at $1500 it's a bit pricey for about 5-6 rwhp . . .

also the 305 miles i believe is based on your aVg MPG... so which ever is higher will give you a higher distance

I would say which dealer AFTER they fix my car. My car is still in the shop, and they are taking awhile to get it fixed... check my other thread out about the dealership that washed my car, and lead to an accident.
But ya, it is a Fully loaded 07 IS350. Gspyder wheels is pretty nice for OEM.
The HKS exhaust is almost a must now. It makes the car more "fun" if that makes any sense. It sounds more mean... and it makes the drive now more... "fun". I can't tell any HP difference, doubt if it's only a 5-6 gain. (My g/f doesn't like it, she says it's too loud... but really it's not)
Maybe the Nav thing is a glitch? Or is there a setting to automatically click "Accept"?

I noticed the average gas meter is lower too... and I do not push the car hard. Been driving it as if it's my own, and mostly highway. The MPG is lower though.
Anyone with 07 IS350, what is your FULL tank meter read? 305? 325?

Yes everytime. I start the engine, as soon as I move forward or reverse, it automatically selects the "Accept" button and off we go. I like it too... it saves me the time to click it and not have to look at the annoying page of jibber jabber.
Guess this is just a glitch... not a "dealer option".

It might be. I do see a hookup in the center console for Ipod connecting... but I wasn't sure if this was a factory option, or add on, etc. Is this the Vaistech module?
(Another glitch is that after it clicks "accept", the cursor will wander off to another location...but I would just press the MAP button and it centers again.)

It's a loaner car, with an exhaust... I'm sure most ppl drive it a lot harder than they do their own car. So the vehicle average mpg is lower, and that will make the range display lower (since it is directly based off of the average mpg). Try resetting the average mpg and driving it easy to get a nice high number, then fill up.
