I have an 06 IS350 with 15K and wont be driving it for a while becasue I am in another state for a few more months. But I was thinking when I get back maybe if I am extremely lucky get an IS F and trade the 350 or keep the 350(low payments dont hurt either) since its still basically new and mod it. Decisions dont know what to do....

Well, let's talk about function.
Do you need the power and performance of the IS-F? Is the IS350 your only car, or is it a second car for fun? Can you afford the extra costs of insurance, gas, and car note payments?
The IS-F is great, but I don't find it functional. If you have the money to buy it as a second car, go for it. Otherwise, although the IS-F can be a great daily driver, I don't find it functional as the sole car in your garage...

Ok did you all actually read what he asked, he said TRADE in his 350 & get the IS-F & besides your IS owners stop telling the man 2 get a M3 or G37 GEESH![Uhh...](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/1387914497.gif)
I say if you can afford it trade in the IS350 & get an IS-F if thats what you want, I myself have been thinking the same thing, I have a 350 with all the trimmings & only 18.5k miles & im thinking about getting the IS-F, but I also have a Accord (to save on gas, or make those trips to wally world...LOL) & I have a Range Rover for the winters here in Boston, so I wouldnt be driving the IS-F everyday!!
So decide what work best in your situation IS350 all yr round, IS-F all yr round, or IS-F & another car in your drive way all yr round.....lol
Good Luck with your decision!!!

I was debating this for a while. I have a fairly new IS350 but I would not mind stepping up to another car. But from what I have read it looks like the IS-F is going to be about 407hp and 60k. If this is true then I would either go with a M3 which is about 430hp and 65k or then next RS4 which is getting the a boost to 450 hp and is about 67k fully loaded.

rx driver...but i wouldn't take the IS-F as my only car. It's a)a waste of gas, b)a waste of insurance on a daily driver and c)brand new. i'd keep the 350 for a year or two and then grab a used IS-F...

I have a Toyota Land Crusier even worse gas mileage than the IS-F , but I will probably hang on to the 350 for right now and then trade it in for an IS-F down the road
