imo the underbrace from TOM's is better as it has two more connection points in the front than Tanabe's.
as far as if added bracing is needed, well no mods are really needed. however the braces strengthen your overal chassis and can reduce flex, so if it is important to you then go for it. can never be too strong right?

Well said! The Tom's piece does have 2 additional mounting points however the Tanabe bar is extremely rigid. The Tanabe bar is an double I beam construction which is extremely rigid while still being very light. There is also a large price difference between the two bars. I would think that both bars would get the job done and stiffen up your chassis. Whether you need it is really up to you.

Wow, thats a pretty in depth article! If you have any more feedback about how the coilovers and TEAS system ride, please share.
Also for those people who suggested bigger sway bars or more products for the AWD crowd, please keep the suggestions coming. A great thing about being on the Club Lexus forum is to get feedback from our customers so that we can better serve their needs and help answer any technical questions that they may have.

I also believe that if Tanabe comes out with coilover for AWD it could sell....
Right now no one makes coilovers for AWD and there are many AWD owners out there want suspension parts...
Since most of japanese aftermarket parts companies are located in southern california that they may not see AWDs but gotta look more broad... Most of northern states sell more AWDs than RWDs.....

I love these coilovers! I'm the 2nd owner of these.
There is only ONE major complaint though, and that is regarding the damper setting adjustment ****. It's VERY hard to tell how many clicks I have done, and the thing doesn't even click sometime. It seems like this product was made essentially to go with the TEAS.
