Default FIRST BATCH ARRIVES: Tanabe Sustec Pro Five Coilovers for IS250 & IS350!!!

As a proud sponsor of Club Lexus, we would like to inform you that our first batch of Tanabe Sustec Pro Five Coilovers for the IS250 and IS350 have just arrived to the US. With the limited amount of suspension options for the second generation IS, the Sustec Pro-5 coilovers are yet another option for IS enthusiast.

Any feedback or questions please do not hesitate to ask. We will be manning the forum with more diligence than in the past, so if you have any technical questions about Tanabe products please reply to the thread and we will get back to you with a prompt response. If you would like any additional information on the products that we carry, Tanabe, Rare JDM, or SSR Wheels, please visit our site http://www.tanabe-usa.com/ or contact CL vendors such as TM Engineering, Carson Toyota, etc.

Sustec Pro FIVE is an all new adjustable coilover suspension that features a wide array of all new circuit developed technology that is similar to Tanabe's Sustec Pro SEVENS.

Sustec Pro FIVE delivers broad performance for the track to the streets. Featuring 12-way(16-way with TEAS) front & rear adjustment, FIVE allows drivers to fine tune height, dampening and rebound based on street conditions and driver preference.

The new slide valve technology allows a great range of adjustability and function for street and track use.

When used with the new TEAS electronic active suspension controller, the wide range of dampening force is accessible through the touch of a button, and is fully programmable to automatically adjust dampening rates according to the speed you drive.

We also have the following Tanabe products in stock for the IS250 and IS350:

TEAS Part#: TSD001

DF210 Springs Part#: TDF125

NF210 Springs Part#: TNF113

Sustec Under Brace Part#: TUB113F

Touring Medalion Exhaust Part#: T70113A

Does the TEAS control each damper independetly? or all 4 at the same time.
I remember reading some where about performance cars with active suspension that controls them independently so under hard braking, front end stiffens up. And hard cornering outsides would stiffen up.

The TEAS can actively make adjustments to the two front dampers or the two rear dampers at the same time and the TEAS brain is capable of storing 4 manual settings and 4 active (user programed settings). Here's some more info about the system: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/seven.asp Take the time to read through it, its a pretty impressive system.

Full retail on the underbrace is $88, but again you can probably find it cheaper though an authorized dealer. There are a few sponsors on the forum who carry Tanabe products.

are underbraces really necessary if you just plan to upgrade the horsepower slightly higher lets say 20-25 hp?

Is tanabe going to make the SEVEN for the IS 250/350
because that one you can adjust the shock body height and in my opinion get better performance when lowering.
