When I was there yesterday, all the blacks were tan (is that cashmere?) Black on Black would be SEXY, but I'm sure they don't get many because Black on black out here is like murder in the summer.

Talked to 4 dealers and all 4 told me that BSP comes with Cashmere or Silver. Black interior would be special order. Of course, I could've just been bs'd 4 times.

isn't black sapphire pearl blue not black? They have a new BSP with black interior at my local dealer, I think it looks really good.

Yes, Black Sapphire Pearl is actually a dark metallic blue. People here are confusing it with the regular black.

As in new do you mean 07 or 08. Also is that a IS250 or IS350, fully loaded or close to base?

Sorry for the ambiguity, i'm in ohio so we get everything late. As in new i mean an 07 with 40 miles on it. It was a 350 with luxury/ML + trunk spoiler. I wanted to buy it right then but I ended up waiting for the 08's because my gs300 lease expires in december.
unfortunately I'm not seeing any ML's available for my area on the 08's for some reason we have way less packages available now

I ordered black sapphire with cashmere. I felt that the black interior, while nice, is a bit caustrophobic. To me, cashmere allows for a sense of not being in a cave as the black does.

That's exactly the combo I went with too... I really wanted tan (cashmere) interior with dark green exterior, but sadly Lexus stopped making dark green cars several years back, so dark blue was my second choice.

I see where you are coming from, but does that light interior dirty easily? and I know the IS has really plush leather, which translates to scratches. I would hate for them to be really pronounced.

YES, the cashmere interior gets dirty very easy. The leather is very plush and soft. I would assume it would get scratched easily so make sure you dont put anything with edges on the seats or wear any clothes will protruding metal.

My black on black never gets much hotter than any other car Ive ever been in once its been sitting in the hot sun for hours! Besides the ventilated seats and AC in a brand new car make it cool down in minutes.
