This could be true. A buddy of mine had almost the same exact story about 5 years ago.
He was on the 57 freeway when a pickup started tailing him. He had a supercharged CRX, so he just floored it and took off. That must've pissed the guy off because all of a sudden, this guy comes up on his *** again. So, my buddy floors it again. This happened a few times, until eventually, he sees the guy exit the freeway.
The next thing he knew, he looked in his rear view mirror and saw him gaining. This time, he gets rammed. He started skidding and the guy rammed him again. The two cars get stuck. He basically gets pushed for hundreds of yards and my friend decided just to turn the steering wheel just to try and get loose. This caused the truck to hit the center divider and flip over onto the other side of the freeway. This guy then comes out of his truck with a metal box (toolbox?) and tosses it at him.
But, there were many witnesses. The cops came within minutes and hauled the guy away. Nothing on the news. No newspaper article that we know of.
Again, this was the story he told me the day after it happened. I don't know if he was toying with the guy, cut him off, or who knows... But, it happened.

And for your information the car was a sentra type R and if two cars are driving at the same speed, it doesnt matter if its a civic or a ferrari, you'll go the same speed. Yeah, hope all you ppl (except the ones who believed me) come across some psycho who tries to kill you for no reason. Also, it happened right where the 210W and the 5 N and 5 S splits and they do have my girlfriends call log recorded and we are dealing with lawyers to sue them.

if this was real then wow. Good that you flipped the guy over he deserved it, but basically you shoulda got your gf to call 911 while this was happening and tell them what's going on. If you're afraid they wont come then just tell them you just saw the other guy run over some pedestrian or something and you're giving chase. That'll make it a higher priority i guess... anyway glad you're safe.
