I like the new rim color. Might be worth to use that wheel and tire warranty I purchased to replace my scratched rims (very minor though).

I'm happy that I'm getting an "08 at this point because of resale. I'm not so happy because those seat backs are not as sleek as the '06 and "07's. Our family is on the short side so we had no problem with the other back seat. Oh well. I just want my car now. We were told October.

Javier can you confirm??

BTW - Where is the pic of the side view mirror switch, light up ??

Thanks

That car was going through PDI, so the lip wasn't installed, the shift lock was still in place, and the wheels were still wrapped in plastic. It still has some other things that have to be done to it before it can be shown/sold, including initialization of the TPMS, installation of the center caps, etc... As far as the pic of the side view mirror switch goes - I'm lucky I got these shots, Joe. I literally put my life in my own hands getting this pictures off. It was about 5,304 degrees yesterday, and my camera was starting to melt...

Talk about upgrading...

I've heard it's the exact same part.

I agree, the 06-07 seat back looks better - I don't like the "leather bag" look. It does, however, make a big difference in the back seat leg room. It doesn't look like much, but once you sit in the back seat, both the driver and the passenger can really appreciate the extra room.

Here's another shot I took of the interior. Nothing new here - what is interesting is that neither of the '08 models on the lot had navigation. In the two years past, it was next to impossible to get an IS without navigation in the western region of Lexus allocations. Perhaps this is changing...

Oh, and both cars came with Bridgestone Turanzas installed...

yea the back seat dose look cheap..... But i'm not liking the finish on the rims. I like how the finish is on the 06, I have ISP's now but I would rather go back to the 06 finish than the 08

with all the changes for the new years... I have to agree with Javy and say I GLAD I HAVE AN 06. Only thing I would want from an 07 is indacator for the fog lights.

I've noticed here in Houston that for the last few months most of the IS's on the lot were without Nav. I thought it was perhaps just a policy as the 2007's wound down. But maybe it is a policy shift on Lexus' part, or maybe there is a shortage of Nav capability and they are shifting it to higher margin cars?

Ha, that coin holder looks even cheesier than I thought it would. I think youd need all three slots filled with coin holders before it would serve a practical purpose.

The coin holder adds extra weight, hence gas mileage suffers...
