What's the "Rear bumper applique"? Don't ever remember seeing that on any of the 07's I looked at.

It's like a "clear bra sticker" for your bumper, so you don't scratch the paint when you drag the bodies into the trunk...

I would have skipped buying the chrome wheels in '06, if they'd had these wheels then. But, I really didn't like the look of the stock ones on my TP color car. The new finish will look sharp on all their colors, IMO.

I just love that new wheel finish!

It makes the car look more expensive. IMHO the 06/07 wheel finish makes the car look cheap and a bit uninspiring.

As for the new seats looking cheap, I don't see it. They have the same hard plastic rear backing as the old seats, and the only difference is the new leather pouch (compared to the hard plastic paneland the sculpted backs for more leg room. I really don't like the hard plastic panel on the 06/07 models. I don't like it on any cars that I see. I'm very happy Lexus added a leather pouch instead. I feel that a leather pouch/holder is more befitting of a luxury car than a cheap hard plastic panel.

And I'm sure most people will appreciate the extra legroom. It shows Lexus is listening and making improvements quite quickly.

The coin holder I agree is very lame.

Fuel economy is the same; only EPA ratings have changed. For 2008, EPA ratings are more stringent and ALL 2008 MY vehicles see their ratings drop.

javyLSU, that coinholder, is it the pop-out type or does it just sit like that? With our 10g's of lateral acceleration, we dont want the coins to fly thru the back window.

^HAHAHA! I can already hear the coins hitting the windows and dashboard... It's not a pop-out - it's fixed in that position. For all you guys lusting after this feature, I'm sure you can install this on your 06/07 if you so desire. It's a simple pop-in installation into one of the empty switch banks.

This is also LAME. It's just like Philip said above, but it has a Lexus logo on it. It's applied to the top center portion of the rear bumper, to prevent you from scratching your bumper if you should drag something in or out of your trunk. I wouldn't mind it much if it didn't have the gold "Lexus" logo on it... I'll try to dig through some old pictures to see if I can find one to post.

I like the polished rims better than my alloys and I currently use the ashtray for coinholder. Nice pics there Javi.

Thanks for the pics!

That coinholder, holy... i LOL'd pretty hard

I'm not sure how i feel about the rear seatbacks. It's usually only me in the car, so it doesn't matter either way, lol.

I do like the rims finish though. very nice

That coin holder is CHEAP. I rather stick to taking my ashtray out and using that as a coinholder.

They should of made some kind of coin holder under the arm rest compartment.

The ashtray pops out for convenience, but yeah I have no food, drinks, smoking rule for my car as well.
