Default who knows what this sensor is for?

what does this sensor do? i found it on the left rear lower suspention arm i can assume it either sends data to the VSC computer or maybe the headlights to level them? it seems to have a good deal of adjustment in it..

I assume you're referring to the little arm sticking up. That's the AFS arm/sensor for your headlights. There's more detail on it in this thread.

thanks, i already did the manuel adjustment and i still think they could use a touch higher, i would think it would be a lot easier to adjust them with that leaver than going under the hood, what do you think?

if you tweak that too much it will disable the auto leveling lights from working. I think if you just need fine adjustments use in the hood. If something where your car has been lowered etc mess with that adjustment. You really shouldn't have to mess with that adjustment unless your car has been lowered or suspension has been messed with.
