Folding rear seats

Folding rear seats are just another source of rattles. If you need them on a frequent/recurring basis, you should consider a larger vehicle (seriously!).
Structural rigidity is the reason Lexus gives for not having them, but don't folding rear seats kill the point of a valet key as well?

Yea that really threw me off at first too. I looked at the piece of leather in the butt section of the rear seats and thought man that really looks like its a folding point... But nope, no folding.

As I understand it Lexus does not offer folding rear seats mainly due to noise considerations. They feel a solid seat is more rigid, can be better insulated, is just more quiet. Their choice, and I don't think it costs them any sales. If folding rear seats are a must, then Lexus isn't the car for you.
