CL Members I need your insight!

I noticed today as I was driving home there seems to be a squeaky noise coming from directly under neath the steering wheel/column. This is actually the first time I heard this noise, anyone have any idea what it is? The noise is similar to the sound thats produced when you rub two pieces of plastic styrofoam together. I drive an 07' IS250 btw. I checked the search engine but it yielded no results. Thanks guys.

I forgot to add , the squeaky noise is only present when im driving 60-70 MPH on slightly bumpy pavement

Huh... dont know... Maybe bust out the cell phone and record us a sound clip. I have a noise that might be similar, and so do others, but Im not sure yet if what you have is the same.

never had that problem, but when i was in my friend's 05 honda oddyssey, it was always present.
