lol... well im 16 upcoming 17 in november im driving a IS350 iam paying for half of it with my dad soo.... i mean i get hypnotized by the cars speed and i really dont kno when to stop to be honest so i really recommend getting a 250 and something not as fast yet ive been driving 2 years now and i havent gotten into any accidents yet but, the car is reallllly fast already for a 350 and if u go and get something even faster like a is-f ur just asking for trouble lol, so i totally agree with llambioz, 250 should be enough for u

Did you breathe at all while you were writing this?

Seriously though, if you get "hypnotized by the cars speed and...really dont kno when to stop", you should consider not driving at all, much less in an IS350.

HAHA, i will tell young'ns to shy away from such hi-po cars BUT if they already got them, nothing you can do, cuz not even the jaws of life would be able to pry dAiLL3sT hands off the 350's steering wheel My blood isn't so 'hot' nemore and you cant pry my hands off my 350 gl trying to do that with a young buck

Really? You're paying for half? Of a $38K car? How's that possible for a 16 (or 17) year old, I wonder? I'm sure if you did the math you'd see your parents have subsidized quite a bit, even if they do make you pitch in towards the monthly payment.

well the payments are about 850 a month for 5 years. they are paying for the first 2 and a half years and ill be working that 2 and a half year and saving up. then once that 2 and a half year is up ill still be working and paying at the same time and have that saved up money if i need... u see im 16/17 i dont need to use money unless i want to... like for instance i dont need to pay for bills food... and u kno other ****. so i can just focus on the car. im making about 1,200 a month b4 tax rite now

Who will paying your car insurance on the 350?
A teen with a 350 will cost a bundle for insurance.
Especially in MA which I believe has the 3rd highest rated auto ins cost in the nation.

Well im 17 and i will be getting a IS250 with nav. I made an agreement with the parents that i will fully pay off the car but they will pay for it first. Right now i have roughly 20grand to buy a new car. so they agreed and i will be paying it off fully once i get it. I dont do anything illegal or anything to do with drugs haha but i choose to buy a car i wanted and that i could pay off then a car they can buy for me that i wouldn't take care of. In my opinion i would rather have something i paid for and something i really liked then use the money i accumulated in my life for a car i disliked and paid for. My cousin had the same mentaily as me and he got the Acura TL so its a good comparison but his car will beat my 250 :/ but the IS will look nicer

Flame on!

ExTrEmE99, no flame from me, your getting a great car at such a young age. 250 while a bit pricey for young'ns is a very good n safe car to learn the ways of the road. When i mean safe i dont mean lack of hp cuz after all someone driving stupid in a yugo could get into a world of pain. By safe i mean the saftey features of the car and yea maybe alittle bit lack of hp too makes it a safer car for a teen.

I have to say, these young people are very lucky to be driving these cars. I hope they appreciate and understand how lucky. I'm happy for them.

What concerns me is that some say that they will be paying for them after they get out of school. I hope in these final years of school they at least learn how to put a period in a sentence. Otherwise they might eventually be taking the bus.

Study hard, kids!

i'm 19 and i have a 10k note on my IS. i put 10k down that i had in the bank and got 13k for my trade which was paid for by me. i go to school full time and work full time at a damn good job but i'm still going for my degree at a private university that i pretty much pay for.

i love driving my car every day, i just which it was a 350 awd hahahaha. once it comes out..........it'll me mine.i worked for this car so i'm gonna enjoy it, still saving up a ton of money, and hopefully within the next year i'll have my own place.
