Mine was only $80 and this was using synthetic oil...I thought that was a little on the high side...so yours is WAY too expensive.

That's not too bad. My Lexus dealer charges retail of like $140. They also do an inspection, top of fluids, and air filter I believe?

Most dealers will do just a straight oil change for around $40 or $50 bucks. I would steer clear of the Jiffster.

Oh and please remove your caps, it's like you're shouting.

Both Newport Lexus and Westminster Lexus (So. Calif) charge $79 bucks for their oil change. One uses Castrol 5/30 Syntec the other Union 76 Purple..same weight.

If your young, have the tools and the time; do it yourself. If your old, got the money.......screw it, enjoy the coffee and watch TV and let them do it. I don't crawl under my car anymore.

$50 for oil/filter change at Lexus of Austin (TX). I've worked hard for my IS and have no plans to do it myself, $50 is a fair price in my opinion. I'm through with crawling under a car to change the oil. Been there.....done that.

Nothing wrong with Jiffy Lube.... They have done all my changes except for #1. I am quite fine with their work.

That's a normal price for a LEXUS dealership.
This is not your typical vehicle.

hey, i'm assuming you've gotten oil changes from newport lexus? how long did it take, and is the $79 oil change the lowest price they'll go? after getting the free 5K miles service, they said it would normally be $300! i don't need that "lexus schedule maintenance," just a simple oil change for my 10k miles service. thanks!
