I was walking out of Reliant Energy in Avon Lake, Ohio today when I noticed a nice little door ding. I think to myself just my luck.

So I jump in the car and head home on the turnpike.. and a semi blew out a tire, the tire went flying across two lanes and struck the passenger side of my car...

I immediately pulled over, got out and assessed the damage.

Damage: Fog light was not in its spot!! It broke off of the clip that bolts it to the bumper.

Also, the front lip was not flush with the front bumper.

I get home pull the fog light applied some 2-part epoxy and fixed the broken portion. Its still curing, and will re-install tomorrow.

Also washed the car, and noticed there was not a single scratch on the car.

At least it didn't take out the hole front end!!!!

uhh didn't the truck at least stop or something? why would you repair it shouldn't you get reimbursed for the damage from the "accident"?

I don't know if it came from the truck in front of me, or the truck in front of him,

Its done and over with, and the car isn't leaving the garage for a few days! lol
