That one, without any hesitation whatsoever. In fact, that is my dream IS350, except I'd also lose the Premium Package (I don't like the wood).

A base IS350 is more functional than a loaded IS250...

IS350 is you want raw speed.

IS250 if you want a highway cruiser that gets great gas mileage 33+. Both are great cars.

Plus IS250 go for about $6000 off MSRP. I got my car for $29,400 before tax, MSRP was $35,222.

The number one reason I picked the IS250 was PRICE and economy. A 350 would of been 36500 before tax. I'm cheap and I want to purchase a home saving saving $8k is a no brainer to me.

If you want a luxurious car with all of the gadgets and a some pep to it then get the 250 loaded, but if your into the power go for the 350. You can always buy the nav. for the 350.

Keep in mind that options are pretty worthless when you resell the car. Imagine selling a couple years from now what would you rather buy? A loaded IS250 or a base IS350 for similar price? you would need to discount your loaded IS250 even more just to make it attractive to buyers, otherwise most would opt for the IS350. Even a base IS350 has enough luxury items.

i really think this depends on his needs. e.g. if he wants to go fast. i mean the 350 is WAY faster but the 250 has enough power imo, it isnt slower than a corolla thats for sure. and things like ML r nice to have it makes driving alot more fun.

For what it's worth I was faced with the exact same choice and chose the 350. 13 months later I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Good luck!
