Default NOS For the ISx50

What do u guys think about a NOS kit that mist a mixture of dry and wet Nos in the intake without touching the car. Is it safe if done right (35 to 50 shot) or is it going to bring big problems. And also is it detectable if the kit is removed or does it leave signs.

(Please dont say that i should have got a 350.......i heared it all already lets move passed that i just want to know if its a good idear or am i asking for problems)

Thanks.....

Wet N2O might be a tad dangerous with a plastic intake manifold. I've seen and heard of a few cracking when a nitrous backfire occurred. There are some control issues you'll need to figure out, and it will undoubtedly force you to replace some part of the intake if you decide to remove it.

Don't expect it to be trouble-free.

All this is true, but with the nitrous control devices out now days intake backfire is not much of a problem. As long as you spray above 3000 rpm it is almost never an issue. Nitrous is fun! Home made IS-F.

So should i have the relase set at full open... or have it like fast and the furious with a botton?

Even if you have a metal intake manifold, and have a nitrous backfire, its going to do damage elsewhere.. such has blowing the blade out of the throttle body. The force has to go somewhere, id rather it blow out the manifold.

That said, nitrous is a risk. If set up properly, it can work flawlessly for years. I have a nitrous setup on my 99 Camaro SS for 3 years and 40k miles, using 100 wet shot all the time. It never had any negative affects on my car, but it could have if anything had gone wrong.

A 35-50 shot is, well, pointless. Im not sure the car will hold up that well, but i dunno, ive never seen anyone put nitrous on a newer Lexus. If performance is what you're after, you are much better off waiting, saving your money, and trading your car in. With the amount of money you will spend to get your car to IS350 power levels, you could have saved some money and just gotten a 350.

Your best bet is to call the nitrous companys. They will lead you down the right path. Ask for tech support. I know that a wet kit for a 350Z is the closest to what you`ll need for your 2IS, 350z runs @ 51psi on fuel side which is close to what the 2IS has.(55psi)

You are asking for problems!
It is not safe... period.

If you want to have more power with a 250 and have no budget issue, you will need to make some Taiwanese friends. If you want to get more power but also money is the problem then don't do anything.

Why Taiwanese? Because there IS250 has a lot of crazy add-ons in Taiwan. Taiwan and HK has only 250 but not 350, so they play hard on what they have!
