Default Falken FK 452's

Got some new FK 452's today. I am at 16k on my odo and this is my 3rd new set of tires, (including the ones on the car when bought).

I was running Potenza RE's. THese are MUCH Grippier.

My set up is 235/40/18; 255/35/18

I am looking to go to 245/25/20; 295/25/20 with my new rims in a few months. Any comments on this offset?

Ur gonna rub if you plan on dropping ur car. Go 235/30 and 275/30 instead if you plan on dropping ur car. what width wheels? 8.5 front 10 rear?

I read in ur other post ur u wanting offsets that clear a BBK. my offsets on my 19's are +36 front and +37 rear and they clear both my stoptech and brembo BBK.

25 profile in the front?
295 in the back .
I think you might rub in the front pretty badly. Are you going 10.5 in the rear?

Ya am thinking about 10.5 rear 9 in front. I am already dropped. I just want to get as low and wide tire as possibe.

I drive my car like I stole. I use all of my tires contact patch... I also like fresh rubber too.

I put 452s on my Supra because they were cheap and I needed to drive long distance on them. They are nowhere near as grippy as RE050A Pole Positions I have on the IS, and they make a LOT more noise at a much lower limit. They're not a bad tire, but they're not a great tire. They are a great tire for the money.

if you like to really push ur car, ur really gonna feather ur front tires on hard corners if u end up running a 245 in the front. I mean ur gonna rub either way w/ a 245, but if you plan on driving hard, its gonna be even worse.

452 are one of the cheapest in that size set up. Actually the cheapest that I have found next in line were the Toyo T1R's Dunlops and Pirelli the most exp.

I would even go with a 20 x 8 and on a 235 30 then I think you will be solid. I have a 20 x 8.5 set up I get a very very slight rub on really hard turns at a low rate a speed other than that it works well.
