Default Yellowing in clear bra on Tungsten Pearl IS

For Tungsten Pearl 2IS owners w/ clear bra,

do you experience any color change in the clear bra? And what brand do you use?

For myself, I have the Ventureshield installed a year ago and it seems to have a slight yellowing.

Is it normal?

My car is mostly indoor and the paint is in perfect condition as it is regularly detailed.

Thanks

I don't remember which one that they use at Aerotect, but I've had it for 3 months and it's fine. I wash and plexus once a week and wax a month. The only time it looks discolored is when I have my polarized sunglasses on.

Most installers will have a lifetime warranty which will protect against yellowing. Take it back.

i heard the new 3m stuff is really good and doesn't yellow, not sure how true that may be. I was thinking of putting a clearbra on with the new 3m stuff, anyone in the forum, using this stuff?

In regard to my IS350, the clearbra itself not "Yellowing" - but under certain light condition and/or angles, it does appear to have a slight yellow tint to it. However, these conditions are rare and 99% of the time it's invisible.

Not sure if this is the condition you are experiencing. Can you take some pics…?

Ventureshield was or is the only one that i know of that warranties their product for a lifetime for bubbles, peeling, and yellowing.

The best way to get an answer is to take it back to where you had it done.

Thanks for all the good responses. They really help.

With regards to the MLevinson's comment,

This is exactly what I am experiencing. It is a yellow tint and is more obvious in a few light conditions. So maybe I should not have used the term "yellowing".

I should try to take a picture after I do my car wash this weekend.

I also use Plexus as well but not weekly. Probably when I wax the car.

Had the 3M bra put on the same day I bought it. It's been on for 14 months and looks as good new. No regrets and most of all no rock chips with 85% highway driving.
