I just got my IS250 AWD on Monday and that very same night, i was driving on the freeway when a car in front of me hit one of those big barrier (orange) plastic barrels which hit my bumper, tore off some paint and crushed my passenger side mirror.

But yea... having both stolen must really really suck...

Sorry to hear such an unfortunate incident. I wish your first post on CL was more positive.

As far as replacement side mirrors, I don't know of any that are easily available. It's best to ask your local dealer for them, even though it will be expensive...

I frequent eBay, and I have never seen side mirrors up for auction. I've seen CF side mirror covers, but not the side mirror housings themselves...

Actually only the mirrors were stolen, assembly and wire were intact. I have a $1k deductible, so I'm sure its going to run under that amount

wow, thanks!! I'm guessing all I need is the glass. Is there any reason why these wouldnt work on a 250 since these are from the 350 section?

Also I noticed the 2007 mirror glass is $285.50 while the 2006 is $84.50. Why the price difference?

yeah i'm not surprised this happened in NYC. where in queens if you don't mind me asking? off topic but anyone know anything about the JDM power folding side mirrors? like if anyone sells them or know where i can find them?

best bet for jdm mirrors is japan ive yet to see someone running those in the u.s. if you do find it let me know cause i been looking too lol.

have you tried local auto wreckers? albeit our model is still quite new, probably not many written off IS's as yet. but won't hurt to check.
