Is this a fix it ticket? I saw some 350zs with Yellow on the freeway, was wondering if this is illegal in California? Anyone have colored headlight clearbra covers?

I just installed the blue ones on my headlights and fogs..
and I'm pretty sure it's illegal..=/

In CA, almost all mods are illegal but depends on how picky the cops are. As for the blue headlight and fogs, I think as long as the light output isn't blue (as in real blue) it should be fine and cops won't bother with it much. Most of the time, they just worry about the cars looking like a cop car at night because blue is supposedly impersonate a police at night.

I've had more morons with cheap, HID looking, horribly aligned lights pull up behind me or blind me oncoming.....I wish the cops would crack down on it, or at least the hack jobs that look like crap.

Wost case scenario is if the cop is having a crappy night and picks your car. he will write u a ticket for impersonating an officer for having blue lights shining out of the car. Happened to me in San Diego. automatic court date. doesnt happen much im guessing but it does happen.
