They offer thin or thicker frames and 2 or 4 hole frames.
I prefer plain chrome or black frames.
I have two chrome 2 hole thin frames on my IS now.

I got one from the dealer, but I don't feel like being an uncompensated rolling advertisement for them, so I just dropped by O'Reilly Auto Parts & picked up a plain glossy black one for my black car - makes the back end look really good, IMO. I'll also be blacking out my emblems tomorrow, fwiw.

I've bought many quality chrome and black license plate frames from here.

You can spend a few bucks for a cheap plastic frame or up to fifty bucks for a hand laid carbon fiber frame. Just depends on what sort of look you want. Personally, I dislike frames with the dealer advertising on them, and I don't like to see a bunch of screws and nuts on the plate either. I don't think people put enough thought into the plate frame, they just whack on what is available. But they'll worry about the smallest other detail on their ride.

You can't really remove the DRL bulb as it is the high beam bulb. No bulb = no high beam. Better to just turn off the DRL's via the Lexus dealer.

Your Lexus dealer can disable the DRL's. Not all dealers will do this (safety issue), but it can be done in less than five minutes (you can't do it yourself). Many have had this done, myself included. Attached is the PDF file for all of the settings. It is an option on the list (page 4 - DRL Function). Print it out and when you go in for the rest of the LPS (Lexus Personalized Settings) tell them you want the DRL's turned off.
