according to all the results i've seen on the internet, I have the fastest stock Luxury Package IS350 in the country. I did that with 1/8 tank of gas, spare and jack removed, 28PSI on the rear tires. Traction control off, ECT PWR on, left it in Auto mode and no brake torque(I don't think it helps at all). That usually get me in between 13.5-13.7 depending on weather, except for one time it got down to 55F in south florida and I hit a 13.49 .

To the original poster read what KOZ said. He's got it pegged. cept I wouldn't use your paddle shifters EVER. They suck, and don't do anything. They aren't even shifters, they are basically top gear limiters. I think they are only useful if you dyno your car and want 4th to be the limit. "might" be good for a real hilly area going down foot hills and such.
advice on brake torquing, you just need to play with that. STart out at 2500 if you spin, take it back a notch, and keep going till you get those best time. My best 60' time was with 0 brake torque. Basically the same way caymandive does it. one foot on brake and one on gas. watch the tree and go!
BTW to all. ect does not matter one bit in 1/4mi. I have tested this over and over. Oh btw, my fastest time was with ect OFF.

Hey guys i'll be taking my car to the track in a couple of weeks with my 20s i wonder how she'll do???? I'll definetly make a pass with the traction control completely off. "Peddle Dance style" I should get some traction this time since i'm running 275-30 on the rear.... or at least i hope so.. I'll have someone taking better video this time.

And guys, don't race with 20s, you'll probably run low 14 at most. I raced an auto G35 coupe from a dig and I barely beat him with my 20s. Slap the stock wheels back on and have fun .

13.64 completely stock with spare tire and 1/2 tank of gas. Moderate humidity and temperature in the upper 70s.
Not too shabby. All I did was hit PWR on, traction off, reved to about 1500RPM and went down the track.
However, should it get nice and cool this winter I'll be taking the IS back to the track to see if the intake does anything for me, and I won't be brake boosting, I think people have got faster times by just smashing the gas.

One question for the guys that took the traction control off... Did you push in the traction control button or did you do the peddle dance and disabled the whole traction control system. The reason i ask is that when i took my car to the track and disabled the traction control system with the peddle dance i spun half way down the track... I haven't made a pass with just pushing in the traction control button.
My method included brake torking. But like others have said here, next time I wont. I was continually fighting for traction. My best time was 13.53. See my signature for my story/pics...

The most important reason for disabling TRAC / VSC is to allow a good burnout before the run to heat up the tires. Aside from that, it doesn't really matter whether it is on or off since a spin will spoil the run either way. Regarding ECT-PWR, I think it would have some benefit, but maybe just small. It allows higher RPMs before upshifts (verified via CAN bus), which will definitely help some.

At WOT your car is going to shift at the same point regardless of ect on or off.
when launching you want around 10% wheel spin. caymandive can send you some links about that.
VSC will straight up kill power to the wheel if any detects just the slightest spin (which again slight spin is good).
