I apologize combfilter and caymandive. I did not mean disrespect. Must be the 21 degree Fahrenheit mornings already settled in. Which means the car needs to stay in the garage for most of the winter. It's getting to me. Oh and a bad day at work + some Jägermeister. Not a good mix. p.s. That stuff is overrated for my taste.

BTW, I checked the wiring diagrams for the paddles, and they look like they will be really easy to connect to my ECU!!!

I can never figured out why my car shift before redline most of the time and once in a while it would shift at redline. I gotta try it this season without ECT-PWR. Thanks for sharing the infos Gernby.

ECT PWR is the setting that feels good - you feel a lot of torque - but it isn't the quickest and fastest.
The one caveat I would add to Gernby's analysis - the car does shift differently on uphill/downhill segments. There's a whole big discussion about how the transmission shifts differently depending on if you are going up or down a hill in the New Car Features book. If you've been down a steep hill and used the brakes, you know the gearbox downshifts very aggressively to maintain your speed.
