Gernby, did you change out the back lugs also? Because I found the front impossible to install without a compressor and air wrench. And the back was impossible without having the car up and removing the hub assembly. Maybe I was doing something wrong but I just wanted to clarify that it was NOT so easy. So much so that I gave up.

I only did the front, and I thought it was very easy. Although, I did use an air wrench to get the new lugs fully seated. I thought the rears were about the same as the fronts acording to the thread I was involved in at the time...

I think Javier had the backs done by a mechanic. I can remember the day I tried to install those spacers. Ended up driving five miles on a wobbly wheel because I couldn't get those darn lugs seated correctly. What a freaking nightmare. I learned valuable lesson that day!!!

No, I did install the rears myself. I had to cut the extended rear studs that I bought so they would fit within the hub. The hub can only accomodate studs that are about 2 3/4 inches long. Anything longer and you won't be able to fit the studs into the hub assembly. Once you have them in you can seat them with an open-ended nut. Nothing a little patience and elbow grease can't resolve.
