Might get out of my IS350 for a C350!?
So confused. I stopped by the Benz dealer today and check out a 350 loaded - nav. I pay 557/mo for the IS350. Have about 1.5yrs left on lease. If the benz dealer is willing to buy out the Lexus..I might be hopping in the C350.
Thoughts? This will also give me the opportunity to upgrade to the C63 next yr with this dealer.

I agree with the post above. You'll be disappointed with power if you make the switch. It will be like taking a step down. You'll probably be paying a lot more by getting the C350 with the same features/options you have on you IS350. In the end though, it's all up to you. Try test driving the C350 first and see how it feels. It should tell you everything you need to know.

Here's the thing. I compared interiors and the C class seems to have a very tight/clean cabin. The components seem of good quality. I took the Benz for a test drive and it has a lot of tq. German HP/TQ is different than that of our Japanese brands. I might not have to put anything out of pocket since they will buy the lexus from the dealer..and do a deal with me on the c350. I will think about the c350, then have my fiancee take that over and get the c63. Does anyone have any friends with the new C class?

Anyway, It's up to you and your tastes. If you like it better, buy it.

I'll certainly agree that a German car just "feels different" than a Japanese car, but we are way beyond the point where the Germans can sit back and rely on this fact alone to sell cars. If MB has some sort of HP/TQ advantage, they'd be cashing in on it. This is an exteremely competitive class of cars.

If you're talking about the Brabus 4.0 Liter V6, then it's not worth it. If you're talking about the 720-hp, 6.2-liter twin-turbo V-12 and capable of a peak torque figure of 974 pound-feet at 2100 rpm, it's still not worth the $480,000 price tag but how often to you see a C-Class that can beat Ferrari's and Lamborghini's without a sweat?

i test drove the c350. it was actually a fairly nice car. the only prob i found was that it was underpowered and steering was a little too tight for me.
the MB navi is a little bit like like the BMW's iDrive if I remember. The interior was fairly nice and was comparable to the IS. If power isn't an issue, then try the c350.

I heard about C-Class' new nav control. It is like iDrive, which I don't get because it's the most annoying part of any BMW's out there. Why put one of the worst features the competitor has in to their vehicle?
