Detailed my CW IS... Check it out
Here's a few shots from the detail job this weekend. I can't take credit for this, it was all Jason, a good friend of mine. He did an unbelievable job. Here's the skinny on what we did.
1. Hand Wash with dish detergent to strip paint of old wax
2. Clay bar to remove all surface contaminants
3. Quick Hand Wash again...
4. Menzerna polish to even out clear coat (Hitachi Rotary Buffer)
5. Protective Paint Sealant (applied by hand)
6. Pinnacle Souveran Wax, best wax money can buy IMO (applied by hand)
Also cleaned and conditioned the leather with Lexus leather care products. Yielded impressive results. Some Megiaur's Interior QD, some TLC on the wheels, tire gel, and a thorough cleaning of the engine bay.. and this is what you get... Except these are just exterior pictures

Looks great, but a couple of tips for the future:
1. If you're claying, you generally don't need to use dishwashing soap. Clay should strip the car of wax/sealant, and dishwashing soap can be rough on rubber seals, etc.
2. Souveran enhances the look of darker cars (especially red and black). Your car looks great, but you'd probably do as well or better with a number of other OTC and boutique waxes. Again, it looks good, but don't drop the $$ on Souveran for light colored paint if you haven't already.

As mentioned earlier, Souveran really yields amazing results on darker paint... You can get it in a kit for $99 or $79 for the wax by itself.. Apply by hand with the included applicator pad
I'm pretty sure it was Menzerna Final Polish..
Thanks to everyone for all the comments!!

Do not use souveran unless you have a red or black car. Not worth the $. I use pinn. sig. series II on my silver IS. P21S is great on lighter colored cars as well. Also, the souveran will not last more than one month or so. Try liquid souveran spray wax after washes. Great product.
