Everyone says our cars are really fast so I was wondering about this. Especially with all the new more powerful cars coming out. Tell me what you know. I don't know b/cuz I don't race this car but it doesn't seem like it would just dominate all of these cars.

Oh and this is only stock cars.

Would just like to know who I could beat and who I couldn't when I'm driving down the road w/o actually racing .

Alot depends on the drivers, old lady in f40 vs you on a straight road, i'll take you. M.Shumacher in a corolla vs you in traffic, i'll take Shumacher...

yeah, I figured most of the cars named above are probably as fast as the Is350 so it would come down to a driver's race for the most part.

Of course you won't. You don't have the ***** to drive over 60 on the freeway. You won't even beat my friends 2004 bmw 330ci in traffic or me. End of Story.

Also it depends on which version of the cars you have listed... For instance the story will be a lot different between a regular CTS and a CTS-V...

IMHO, it's faster than 95% of the car you see on average american interstates.

IS350 = faster then 350Z. Not by much at all but have tested this a few times with a friend that has one with a few mods. Always take him by around 1 car length if that.

Simple, get yourself the latest edition of Road & Track, Motor Trend or Car & Driver and flip to their road test summary. Look up the times for the 1/4 mile and you can easily see how the IS350 stacks up against the field . . .

I guess these are quarter mile times..........on a top end run the V8's will get the IS350 and maybe the G37

The only reason I was even wondering about this is b/cuz of this forum. Alot of the posts I read are about how fast the IS350 is. You are right, this is a luxury car and I really don't race mine or have the desire to b/cuz it is not that fast in my opinion.
Although I do admit it is kinda cool knowing which cars this car can beat (all else being equal).

Thats all I was getting at.
