Almost the same specs? Almost the same price? Almost the same...? This is not horseshoes, you know! What about taxes, etc., etc.? If you got what you wanted, at a price you were willing to pay, then all is well.

BTW anyone in Bay Area looking for a deal on 350 PM me. I'll tell you how much it is right now, and the dealer. It's well below MSRP. It'll probably be gone by tomorrow.
That's just Cognitive Dissonance, my friend. Everyone gets it. You made your best deal at the time. Don't have any regrets. Anyway, until you sit down across the table from the dealer and hammer everything out don't be so sure the '07 is really the same price as your's. Dealers can play tricks to get you in the door.

Enjoy your ride.

Regret is a terrible thing to live with, it will always be in the back of your mind. Try to learn from your experience and move on my friend.

That said.....get out there and start driving your hot car!!!!!!!! Have fun!

Dude you got an awesome ride and got exactly what you wanted. No fair with the shoulda coulda woulda. CWS is right - you paid what you were willing and there's nothing wrong with that - there is ALWAYS a better deal. As long as you love your car that's all that matters.

Why did you put yourself (and the dealer) through the misery of a fake offer solicitation?

This is why dealers have a tough job at times... to really figure out who's serious and who's just bored and checking around prices for no reason except to regret and perhaps post on message boards.

Just look at it this way.....

Someone else broke the car in for you, at no cost.

Relax, enjoy, and never look back.

One thing I learned a long time ago: Once you buy something, it is time to stop shopping for it.
