Default OEM Hid problem - both sides out

Already checked the owner's manual and searched the forum. Last night my OEM Hids went out. It's been in service for apprx 14 mos and less than 14k miles, I'd say less than 10% nighttime driving. I don't use the auto setting. It can't be the bulbs, haven't been used long enough and both sides went out at once. Could it be a fuse ? The standard line would be take it to the dealer, but if it's something as simple as a fuse, I'll save the time/trip and replace it myself. Any thoughts from you DIYers ???

Check the fuse. Anyway, im not sure how the fuses work for the 2IS, but the headlamp should be independant. Next thing I would think is the headlamp relay, but that would be an warranty issue.

Update: I think I've got a bigger issue than a fuse, last night the Driver's side hid came back on, so only the passenger's side is dark. Time for an unscheduled Dealer trip . . .

even if it was a fuse, there's a reason for it to blow; just let the dealer handle it and please report back to us with the cause/fix.

Exactly. Got a problem? Take it to the dealer! Thats what a warranty is for!

that's rather strange for both sides off....check it with the dealer and keep us posted......
