Hello all, I am hoping to get an 08 IS350
-Premium Package
-Bi-xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps
-18 x 8.0-in alloy wheels
-Rear spoiler
-Preferred accessory package
for no more than $37,000.00 OTD. Is this realistic?
Thanks

My brother-in-law paid $38K OTD for the same package OTD for an '07 350. He got it at invoice price back then. I don't know about $37K. That means you have to really haggle to get approx $1K below invoice which I think is impossible for a 350. Good luck and keep us posted.

Invoice inluding the Lexus destination charge for the car you want is $36k, give or take a couple of hundred. Now add the 6% Florida tax ($2,160) and title/regi fees ($225). You are looking at $38,400 OTD at the least. Even though the dealer has a 2% holdback based on the MSRP, good luck getting an IS350 for rock bottom invoice. Also, most dealers have their own "prep" fee that is often between $400 and $700 that you will have to negotiate.
Realistically, I'd say the car you want would go for about $40k - $41k OTD which would be about $3k off of MSRP.

Thanks for all the input. I was looking at Edmonds.com and it has the IS350 (granted it's an 07 and without the spoiler) for under $34,000.00 Invoice. Here's the link:
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/lexu....html?action=2
I was estimating a little over $3,000.00 for the taxes and the fees.
It looks like I would have to get it at under invoice, but, hey, I have to start low.

I'm in Boca, also. I have been to JM a couple of times. I work near Lexus of Palm Beach as well. I would be willing to go to Miami, if the price was right. I went all the way to south Miami, to get my Harley a couple of years ago. I figure I have 5 or so dealers I can talk to.

Hey guys, I'm in Boca also.
We've purchased Lexus(s) from JM and Palm Beach Lexus and frankly, they both are about the same when it came to the price. Neither tried to undercut the other by a margin that was worth noting. Why not simply call each of the 14 Lexus dealers in Florida and see who gives you the best deal. Then based on actual info, you can make an informed decision.
