I have a 2007 IS 350 Black on Black. I've been looking at lots of threads here and im going to start adding many things to my car. First being mufflers.(exhaust voids warranty) next is going to be the Wald Body Kit when it comes out. I just need some advice for the muffs. im thinking of getting Flow Masters but im not sure if that will be to agressive.Help Plz!!!

flowmasters are nice. I am running magnaflows. You can hear them if you click on my custom exhaust link.

Im taking a wild guess you dont want aggressive? Only thing I can think of is the Tanabe and Greddy.

I am going to be doing something different here pretty soon so if you really are interested i could sell you mine. They are less then 7 months old. If you are in DFW you can swing by and hear them in person. They do sound better than any exhaust I have heard out there cept maybe the borla off road. And even that I like it maybe a tad better.

I live in Houston. Hey so y did you get an intake and does that void warranty. How much do you want for the kit?

nah, it doesn't void your warranty. I see you are new on the forum. Here's the best advice I can give you.
1. read the faq's (like right now). They will answer 90% of your questions
2. you really can't make your car any faster. Maybe and I mean maybe you might be able to make it .20 faster in the 1/4. The key to speed with these cars is first and foremost weather. Read caymandive post about Density Altitude. 2. don't waste your money trying to make your car faster. spend you money on wheels or something of that matter.

That being said and reading the original post I see that it's sound you are after. You can def. change your sound by doing what I did. Intakes can also give you more growl throughout the powerband, but I think that is more psychosomatic than anything. I guess you can play JavyLSU 's dyno run down here in dallas and hear when his intake kick it. Most of that sounds stock to me with the hood up. granted I know for a fact he has the intake. I just don't hear the difference.

wheels and exterior are the best mods you can do for these cars.

well im really not trying to make it fast but it does add like 2 hp i think. anyways i just dont want a muffler thats way to aggressive. Like i have an old school mustang. as far as exterior im going to buy the wald bodykit as soon as it comes out.
