Recommended tire size?

The 265/30-19 has a smaller overall diameter (25.3") than the stock 255/40-18 (26.1").
It is very close to the diameter of the 235/35 front tire (25.5"), but doesn't this defeat the staggered set-up? I would think that a 275/35/19 would work better, since the front/back size ratio stays similar. The only concern would be rubbing, but I know of people with Volks and this size tire who have had no problems.

what would happen if i ran 235/35/19 and 275/30/19??
the sidewall on 275/35/19 is equal to 265/30/19?
