I would rather have a few small tears in the Film that can be replaced in a few years, instead of repainting my front hood or bumper..

Also, my head & fog lights are rock chip free for Life!!

I would like to do this as well but theres not many places here that do it, let alone one that will do an A+ job...

Has anyone done it, and then added a lip kit afterwards, did you bother getting the kit done after as well?

I had my it put on my GFX lip.... no big deal, it's pretty easy.

I've applied it to my headlights before on my old IS300 and it is a super pain to get it perfect. I ended up with a few small crinkles, hardly noticeable...but it was better than getting rock chips.

As far as the rocks tearing holes, that is BS. I had it on my IS300 for many years, driving in New England with tons of rocks and crap, and it held up fine.

I just recently added the GFX lip from the recent fire sale. I am debating on putting on a clear bra because of the cost and how little surface area the lip really is. I think portion of the hood, fender and rest of the bumper is fine with me.

actually I do have one little tear from a rock i believe actually. it is minuscule though but it must have been a razer sharp pebble. Every other rock has been deflected safely. hehe.

Default invisible bra

Hi,
I had my hood, fenders, etc. on my RX 450 done by aerotect last week, and while it looked good initially, now only when I am wearing my sunglasses a sort of tye-died effect is seen on the light blue paint, but only w/my glasses on; same w/my husband. Have you had any such issue? Or even heard of this?
Thanks
Suzan
