I'm on extended business travel so I'll try to get the special together next week.
Just to clear things up, there are 2 different kits for the IS. The Carson type kit is a molded CF kit that covers the center console around the shifter and the cup holder, the front door window controls, and rear door window controls only. These are molded covers made of real CF.
The wooddashkit.com type is a flat real CF kit that not only covers the same areas that the Carson type covers, but also the upper dash areas around the radio, around the air vents, etc.

Both are held on by the new 3M thinner adhesive so the kits do not have as much thickness as before, which made the kits look too "aftermarket". The thinner 3M gives it a little more "factory" look to the kits.
Since the kits are made by different manufacturers, the weave is going to be different. That's why when I put both kits on my car, I candied the molded kit red and left the upper flat kit black CF.
It's up to you what style you like.....but I think the Carson kit is no longer available. I can get the same kit, but I think the only color is silver.

Fiko, looks nice but onyl problem is that the CF weave is a no match on the flip cup and center panel cover. Was that from car gym?
I had some major problems with a set of their "Lexus" Pedals.

yeah i'll just put a lexus sticker or somethign nice to cover that spot. The weave difference is only in the way the pattern is flowing, its not that big a deal, thats being very picky
