i was looking at the pics again, n i was thinking. how did ur front fender get so messed up along with ur front headlamp, but 0 damage to the wheel? amazing

 

Totaled not worth fixing i don't know if insurance would want to fix this car since that right side panel frame got hit and probably moved hard to fix that you have to realign the whole frame and the car will never be the same but if insurance would decide to fix it they would have to qualify it under the half of what the car is worth. The damage here look too me as over the half so it's totaled junked. But if i wold have to give and amount it would be around 18,000 - 14,000 depending on what model you had.

 

I'd say around 10k. I gotta tell ya, though, if you got hit dead on in the rear at 40 mph I think you'd be pretty seriously injured and your car would be totaled. Maybe the car that hit you WAS going 40 mph before he slammed on his brakes but the actual impact speed looks more like 15-20 mph. I wasn't there so who knows.
