Well depends on what type of phone you really want. I had the Motorola Razr V3xx and that synced perfectly. Now I have the IPhone

i heard that's the only way to transfer the phonebook over on most phones... one at a time. i know i had to do that with my old nokia 6230 and again with my new cingular 8525.

Yeah that's why I had to do for my V3xx. On some razr models they do have an option to select multiple addresses to send but I guess they disabled it so you gotta send one by one. Got very annoying so basically only sent the main ones.

I'm using the iPhone, and so far its been a pretty good experience, only problem for me though is that contacts aren't transferring.

i can save you a lot of trouble as i have researched this extensivly

SONY phones are by far the best for BT in any car with HF system i have an HTC 8525 and any of the windows enabled phones running WM5 will not show the battery strength or signal strength meters but will pair and will have frequent problems with it comming unpaired.

HOWEVER if you upgrade the phone to WM6 they work almost perfect. my 8525 running Windows Mobile 6 works almost perfect. lately had some problems comming unpaired but it is my phone and not the HF kit. i am just waiting for a new version for WM6 to come out to fix the problem.

otherwise use the link above to the lexus compatability phone list for a good reference. last i checked my phone wasnt listed there but it works.

I have a BB Curve with a 2006 GS. It drops the calls ALOT. I loaded my phone book with my old palm and I have had no need to re-load it from the BB, so I can not comment on the phone book transfer. The phone is great in almost every respect. It does not drop calls when attached to my Jawbone BT, just when connected to the Lexus.

AT&T Tilt works very well. Coming from the wing, this might be a good fit for you.
