how do you get it to just light up in the corner?

 

That is cool.....but too cool and rich for my blood. $1500+xxx amount for installation = baller.

 

I believe either you tap in the DRL or I think there is a button that you install to turn it on or off.

 

my regular drl's have been turned off. the highbeams still work. i have the parking lights on in that pic. i have piaa led's for parking lights. they seem to match perfectly with the led drls.

 

those are led drl's which are controled by a switch.

 

Does anyone have the JDM fogs w/ the ings front lip?!?!? Would want to get these if the custom install is not that major.

So I have a couple of questions??

The DRL switch just controls the DRL Led's in the Fogs.. correct??
Did you have to tap into any sources under the dash or did you just power up from battery and wire them to fogs and DRL switch?

Also, I am assuming the Fog lights themselves are wired up using the oem fog light wiring and turn on from the headlight stalk... right??
or is there additional wiring needed for the fog lights..

correct... the drl switch just controls the led drls. i had to tap into a source... i used the cigarette lighter as my source. had to take apart the center console area and splice into that wire. i chose that cuz it's "hot" when in the acc and on mode and "not hot" when the car is off. that way i don't need to always remember to turn off the drl's when i shut off the car.

the fog lights themselves are plug and pray... no additional wiring needed for those. the fogs still shut off when you use your high beams.

yeah the wiring is a piece of cake to figure out. it's figuring out the brackets and mounting the fogs in the bumper that is a pita especially w/o the instructions.

 

I like puzzles...

 

This looks like its worth it! Looks very nice and not too bad to install...sure is $$$$

 

hahah when you get em... try it w/o the instructions first. time how long before u give up...
