So does that thing at least flash amber when it's on? I didn't think clear turn signals were legal in North America... so how does the IS-F come stock with whites?

the lense can be clear as long as the bulb is amber.

u can get silver coated bulbs that flash amber, so it doesn't reflect the orange when it's not on and when u look inside the clear lens. something like this from autolumination.com:

^^ I had that done on my IS300... It was actually a chrome finish bulb that flashed amber... They even make them in Red...
(I did not use the above brand)

I would get the IS-F tail light and go with a Red/Chrome Bulb...
